From 15 to 17 September 2026, the Little Seeds Early Childhood Development unit hosted an inspiring and empowering conference at Vredelust Gemeente in Boston, Bellville.
The two and a half day event was designed as a deeply interactive workshop, moving away from traditional lectures to focus on collaborative problem-solving, practical skills, and play-centric learning. The primary goal was to equip, connect, and elevate our ECD programme managers and practitioners so they can continue to cultivate environments where young children truly flourish.
A major highlight of the event was the invaluable participation of our guest speakers from the Western Cape Education Department (WCED) and Stellumthombo, who shared critical insights on the future landscape of early education and grassroots community development. Another highlight was the self-care session.
The attendees left feeling deeply inspired, thoroughly equipped, and strongly connected. Little Seeds thank their team, incredible guest speakers, and every participant working on the ground to ensure our children are prepared to thrive!
