Responsibilities include:
- Supervision and management of social service staff
- Programme management and development
- Human resource management
- Involvement in financial management, marketing and fundraising
- Guidance and support to Boards of Directors
- Liaison with departmental regional offices, forums and other role players
- Representation and negotiation within communities and congregations.
Requirements: The successful candidate should have at least five (5) years of practical experience in child protection, supervision and management. Further requirements include excellent facilitation skills, the ability to communicate at all levels, conflict management, strategic thinking, the ability to work independently, and computer skills. Registration with the South African Council for Social Service Professions is mandatory.
In terms of the organisation’s transformation policy, candidates from the designated groups will be given preference upon appointment.
