Purpose of the Job:
- The Nurse is responsible for the general care and well-being of the clients through continuous monitoring.
- The incumbent must ensure that clients are always safe.
- The Nurse is further responsible for client-related administrative tasks.
Responsibilities include:
- Deliver nursing care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team, with continuous observation of physical and emotional state of clients.
- Identify, prevent, and report risks ensuring client safety. Contribute to a positive client experience by assisting in the creation of a conducive environment, within the scope of practice for enrolled nurse auxiliaries.
- Provide assistance to Caregivers regarding taking care of clients as operationally required.
- Provide accurate and comprehensive records of all nursing interventions.
- Ensure that all utilised stock and equipment are accurately charged.
- Compliance with minimum norms & standards (health & safety regulations).
Requirements:
- The successful candidate will be a registered nurse with a minimum of 5 (five) years’ experience as a nursing practitioner.
- Must be willing to work shifts, be fluent in Afrikaans and have a valid driver’s license.
- Detail oriented with organisation skills, initiative and compassion, customer service with strong decision making and interpersonal skills.
