Badisa Wolseley a program of Badisa has one (1) vacancy for a Financial Administrative Officer. Badisa is a joint ministry action of the Dutch Reformed Church [Western Cape] and URC [Cape]. 

Responsibilities include:

  1. Financial administration and liaison with accounting officer
  2. Management of petty cash
  3. Reception and switchboard
  4. General Administration
  5. Asset Management
  6. Liaising with staff, governing board members, service providers, stakeholders and clients
  7. Supporting with fundraising and marketing
  8. Managing donations and second-hand clothing sales

Requirements

The successful candidate possesses at least three years of relevant experience in office management and administration.  Further requirements include a professional, helpful and friendly attitude, communication skills, conflict management and problem-solving, creative thinking and the ability to function independently and under pressure as well as advanced computer skills.  A valid driver’s license must please accompany your application.  Fluent bilingual (reading, speaking and writing) in Afrikaans and English. Police clearance and Screening against the Child Protection Register.
