Herfsvreugde Home for the Elderly is a programme of Badisa, a joint ministry action of the Dutch Reformed Church (Western Cape) and VGCSA (Cape).

Requirements and Experience:
- Registered with the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
- Comprehensive nursing care: Providing quality medical services to the elderly.
- In-depth knowledge of the physical, psychological, and medical needs of elderly persons.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and observation skills.
- Staff management: Overseeing care and nursing personnel on a rostered shift.
- Administration and record-keeping: Compliance with legislation, protocols, and procedures.
- Medication and infection control: Managing residents’ medication in collaboration with the Registered Nurse.
